Rufford Abbey Country Park
(1 review)
Rufford Abbey Country Park, owned by Nottinghamshire County Council and managed by Parkwood Outdoors, is one of Nottinghamshire’s favourite attractions.
Open every day except Christmas Day, the park has something for everyone - from adventure golf to boating, craft courses to children’s trails there’s always something to enjoy.

Dog friendly although dogs have to be kept on lead. No dogs in the children's play area. Other than that they are allowed everywhere else. Lovely walk around the lake and through the woodland paths. Two cafés and small garden centre. Toilets. If you intend to visit regularly then an annual pass is well worth it. I walk there several times a week in the winter when the fields are muddy
