Tracks lead you all around the site, some wide, open and sandy, others narrow and twisting among trees and bushes. It's very popular with walkers.

Hartlebury Common is an SSSI site and one of the countries few remaining areas of lowland Heath left, it is managed by Worcestershire County Council and groups of volunteers. It's a wonderful place for off lead dog walks with lots of sniffs and weemails to check out, 220 acres to be exact.
It's a mixture of wooded areas, sandy paths and and pools. There are a few Long Horn cattle (rarely seen) on the site to help with the conservation efforts but they are very laid back and totally ignore dogs unless they are being a nuisance.
Some day's you can walk the whole site and not see a soul but it does get busier at the weekends.
My 15 year old Border Terrier never tires of the place and we walk him on there 3 X a day.
