Glenwhan Gardens & Arboretum

A beautiful garden with spectacular views actross Luce Bay. To see the garden at its best, and to take advantage of the views, you and your dog need to be able to manage inclines. There's a lake in the middle and a Japanese summer house at the very top. Lots of rhododendrons and azaleas which must look spectacular in season but we've never yet manages to see this. Nevertheless, there is something interesting to seen whenever we go. Dogs on leads are allowed everywhere in the garden and in the plant sales and the tea room. It's a slightly out of the way place but our spaniel loves it. Occasionally closed for special events like weddings, so check the website before you set off
