A dog friendly 75 acre rural museum in the heart of Suffolk. ( Previously known as The Museum of East Anglian Life)
Read MoreThe Food Museum in Stowmarket Suffolk is set in 75 acres of land with over 17 heritage buildings, a nature river walk and wide open space for walks. All dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. There are some buildings onsite that cannot be visited by dogs. There is a dog friendly café onsite where there are benches and water bowls for both dog and walkers to have refreshments. We have various breeds of farm animals as well as our own Sheep dog Taff who shows off his skills on a Wednesday at 1.30pm. For more information please go to the website. You will need to go to the website for details on how to get here as the Museum's postcode will unfortunately not take you to the new entrance.

I used to love taking my dog Desmond to the museum for a walk around the grounds what ever the weather. Always lots to see including the animals and interesting buildings .
Lisa Harris, August 2021
It's a great safe place to walk my dog with lots of other owners doing the same!
Linda Hall, August 2021
It is very quiet and good for nervous dog, do not have to worry about traffic or crowds of screaming children, just breathe in fresh air and relax
