Dog Friendly Stroll

A shorter version of the Food tour, but equally as fun! The walks take place in a few venues namely, Downpatrick and Hillsborough. The walks meet on Saturday mornings and aim to include a 5km walk before having lunch in a dog friendly venue which produces locally sourced food ingredients.

The Hillsborough Summer Stroll takes guests on a walk around the forest trail followed by a Historic Hillsborough Village tour by a local tour guide, followed by lunch in the fabulous Hillside Bar along with a beer tasting of locally crafted beers from Hilden Brewery.

The Finnebrogue Woods tour, operates on the same principle, with exclusive access to the Lakeside trail, followed by lunch in the quirky and toasty dog friendly tipi tent. Laura and the team at Fodder NI (the farm shop and café in the woods) source all their ingredients locally, and serve up a sumptuous feast of soups, scrumptious homemade sausage rolls, homegrown dexter beef burgers, sweet and tasty cakes all making for a wonderful experience.
