Dog Friendly Food Tour
Dog Friendly Food Tours mean one thing! Lots of fun, great food and a super memorable day out with your dog across Northern Ireland. Guests will enjoy a variety of locally sourced food and drink on the food tours which take place in Belfast and Portrush. With five food and drink stops, tour guests will enjoy local charcuterie meats, cheeses, beers, gin, fudge, ice-cream, breads, home made treats, Guinness, seafood chowder and more. Each venue is dog friendly and love to see the dogs arriving on tour. A maximum of 10 dogs are taken on the tours for comfort and safety, with the tours lasting 3-4 hours in duration. They are fun days out, meeting other dog owners, visiting new venues and finding out some unique facts. One of the highlights of the Belfast Tour is touring inside Belfast Cathedral where guests can view a Titanic memorial and the Spire of Hope. Advance booking required. Price £45 (food and drink included)

PORTRUSH TOUR
The tours started in Portrush on the north coast
of Northern Ireland – home to The 148th Open
Golf Championship in July 2019 – back in
2017. Having a dearth of dog friendly venues
in Northern Ireland, Portrush had enough
venues to get a tour up and running. Food
tourism is a growing industry in Northern
Ireland, something that has been generated
from the success of the Belfast based Taste and
Tour and their award-winning Belfast Food
Tour, run by Caroline Wilson. There is also the
Causeway Foodie Tour on the North Coast run
by Wendy Gallagher, so Jo knew that it was
important to ensure that local food and drink
was a key factor in developing the tours.
