Churnet Valley Railway
(1 review)
Cheddleton station, home of the Churnet Valley Railway. The whole site is seen as a "living museum" preserving part of Britain's heritage.

A charming little railway. Dogs can be carried on most trains (some specials are excepted) but do require a dog ticket is purchased (£1.50). They aren't allowed on the seats but seemed OK with the train travel experience (well, snoozed on the floor ). You'll probably have to lift them on and off the train as the steps and gap are a little intimidating for a dog.
Dogs aren't allowed in the station cafe, but they do have outside tables on the platform if you have someone who can go in and order.
