The Charles Burrell Museum tells the story of the manufacturing of the Burrell traction engine, from its beginning to the Works closure.
Read MoreHome of the famous "Burrell" engine, we have 3 examples on show within the Museum. A 1902 Agricultural "Aggie" , a 1927 Road Roller "Mac" and our flagship showmans engine "Queen Mary". With our knowledgeable team of volunteer staff we are happy to answer any question & our newly revamped displays show a wealth of new information. We also have our volunteer run "Steamers Cafe" with a selection of homemade cakes plus our well known cheese or bacon toasties!!!
