Brockswood Animal Sanctuary is based in Sedgley, West Midlands. We care for and rehabilitate sick, injured, abused and in many cases abandoned and unwanted animals; giving them a safe and happy Forever Home here with us, whilst also endeavouring to restore and renovate the 'Cotwall End' site. We are home to many different animals from sheep, goats and chickens, to owls, and an emu, and many more waiting for you to meet them and hear their stories.
Read MoreBrockswood is a 100% dog-friendly site, and we absolutely LOVE meeting your furry friends. We even have our own Secure Dog Run and host our own Annual Dog Show! Our animals are used to seeing dogs and aren’t bothered by them (if they’re well-behaved and on leads), so there is no need to worry about that. As an important part of your family, we want you to be able to enjoy time together, instead of leaving them behind at home – or even worse, in a hot car! We have water bowls and cold water taps around the sanctuary that you are more than welcome to use if you prefer to bring your own. Our shop is also dog friendly, so you can bring them with you for a bite to eat, or why not grab a picnic blanket and settle down on the grass together outside? We are planning some short dog-themed courses and training sessions in the future, so do keep an eye out if you're interested in learning more.

There aren't many animal sanctuaries that allow dogs but Brockswood does. Not only do they do fantastic work taking in and rehabilitating animals but they are very dog friendly too. Dogs are allowed everywhere on site including the cafe plus there is a dog run you can hire for off lead plays at a very reasonable rate. My dog was greeted warmly with a fuss and a treat, there are water dishes and plenty of bins.

Our Luna is always fussed over and made to feel welcome. Dogs are allowed everywhere including the cafe and there is a secure run you can hire out very cheaply for off-lead fun. Plus they do an amazing job caring for and healing sick and abandoned animals.

Lovely caring place for animals and people to spend time in nature enjoying all the very well cared for animals..we also use the dog run regularly for safe off lead fun 🥰
