Join our dog loving staff on our narrowboat in Birmingham City Centre and learn about the 250+ years history of the Birmingham Canal Navigations and the impact the Black Country had on the Industrial Revolution.
Read MoreWe embark outside of the SeaLife Centre at Brindley Place, B1 2JB. Heading towards Broad Street, making a turn in and talking about the interesting and quirky history of Gas Street Basin. We then travel through the Oozells Loop surrounded by what is now residential buildings whilst talking about the previous occupiers who helped to kick start the Industrial Revolution. We then take in the James Brindley canal talking about how and why the canals came to be before moving onto the Thomas Telford improvements whilst explaining why they needed to be made. Join us with your dogs to enjoy the only trip boat in Birmingham with live commentary of the history of the area.
