Whitminster House Self-Catering Cottages offer comfortable, flexible accommodation in lovely rural surroundings for groups of 2-49 (max 54) guests in seven cosy cottages and the West Wing of the historic Manor House. All are fully equipped, each with a garden and ample parking.

Set on a charming English Country Estate, well away from neighbours, the Cottages are ideal for individual Escapes, relaxed Reunions and special Celebrations with Family & Friends and can be variously combined to accommodate groups from 6 up to 49. Children and dogs are welcome.

The 8 properties include 2 with level access, a spacious Apartment in the West Wing of the Manor House, and a Farm House group of 4 connected cottages arranged in a horseshoe. Another combination of cottages comes with a free Function Room in which to host memorable parties.

Excellent local caterers can be arranged for all events from intimate Anniversaries to full-blown Weddings.

Weddings at Whitminster offer exclusive use of the Venue for the entire weekend, from Friday afternoon through to Sunday night/Monday morning, to make a significant celebration even more magical.

For Weekend-long Wedding Receptions, a Marquee in the Victorian Walled Garden beside the Manor House provides a fabulous venue, with the Church just steps away from the House.

The availability of a free Party Room also makes it ideal and affordable for residential Craft/Skills Workshops, Bonding weekends and Retreats.

There is a huge range of things to do and see in the surrounding area, from Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust to Gloucester Cathedral and Berkeley Castle, racing at Cheltenham or rugby at Gloucester, Stroud Saturday market and National Trust properties to visit, and a whole host of other activities for adults, children, stags, hens - and dogs!
