Two of 5 cottages around the cobbled courtyard are excellent for dog stays. Marvel at the Cornish Gardens, explore a coastal trail, relax in your cottage, walk your dog at Par beach and explore the coastal path, stopping for pizza at Sam's restaurant, all within 10 minutes drive. Within walking distance is the Eden Project, historic Charlestown harbour, the China Clay trails, and neighbouring secluded and wooded Luxulyan valley, with her ancient leats and mining relics, an ideal escape for you and your pets. Dine at Rick Steins in Padstow within 40 minutes, walk on the Moor or simply play tennis at Tregrehan Garden. Surf within 40 minutes at Fistral, Watergate or Polzeath beach. Forget the car, take a day excursion by train to St Ives. 

Two Dog-Friendly Cottages

The Gamekeeper's Cottage, an excellent cottage for a family or you and your pet(s) with two bedrooms and a large private walled garden. Weekend breaks with Sunday afternoon departure from £360 for two; arrive to a fully prepared cottage with wood-burner lit. Prices range from £640/week wood included, to £1090/week, LESS 10% for two only occupancy throughout the year. Please enquire

The Coach House, extensively renovated in Spring 2024, a spacious cottage with 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6+, with a wonderful secret garden, the high walls of which were the old grain mill. Prices range from £860/week wood included, to £1710/week full house (7 occupancy), less 2.5% for two weeks, LESS 10% for 2 only.  Short breaks from 2 nights at £560.  Please enquire 

Dogs at £5/night. Please bring a dog blanket/throw for furniture protection and that your pet is on medication for flea and tick prevention.

The cottages are fully prepared for your arrival with fires lit for your immediate comfort during the colder months. Wood is supplied from the estate free of charge. The owners and caretaker live on-site. The Estate is surrounded by fields, Parkland and woodland, and dogs may be walked through these areas with respect to the sheep. Par Beach, 10 minutes drive, is dog-friendly all year round.
