Set very privately in a big, lawned garden, you can enjoy a spot of trout fishing (by arrangement) in the River Ottery, which flows gently by approximately 600 yards away and accessible via a bridlepath. Inside there's a light and airy length of house sitting room with wood burning stove and dining area with French doors to the garden. Excellent, well-equipped, little kitchen for cooking up a feast and a ground floor shower room. Upstairs, three cosy bedrooms, a double with lovely long views to Dartmoor and two twins, one of which has a good view, sharing wardrobe space on the landing. A family bathroom also benefits from those superb views. Relax after a day exploring in the big, mostly lawned garden surrounded by Cornish banks and fence with plenty of space for youngsters to let off steam. There are wonderful woods to roam, rich in bluebells throughout spring, or head for the superb, sandy beach at Crackington Haven 9 miles away. If you fancy a touch of retail therapy, good shops and restaurants abound in Launceston (7 miles), where you can also play golf, and Bude (15 miles), both a pleasant drive through countryside away. Treburtle Cottage is a very quiet and superbly relaxing spot handily placed for exploring this delightful part of Cornwall at any time of the year.
