For a more leisurely pursuit, Tideswell Church, often called the Cathedral of the Peak for its large size and splendid architecture, is well worth a visit, as is Buxton, where you can catch a show at the Opera House, or Castleton, where you can take an underground boat trip inside the famous caverns.
