The Pines House

The Pines House is a large Victorian villa, which comfortably accommodates twenty people in ten generously proportioned bedrooms, eight of which have en suite bath or shower rooms. It occupies an idyllic location on the edge of Grantown on Spey, with town amenities only a short walk away. The house immediately backs on to the beautiful Anagach Woods, where guests can enjoy a variety of walking routes. The house is the ideal location for exploring the Highlands with the Cairngorm mountains, Aviemore and the A9 only a 15 minute drive away.

The house has plentiful public spaces including two large formal lounges, a dining room and an informal family room, which adjoins a brand new, open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen is well stocked with quality cooking equipment and with the huge breakfast bar, dining table and adjoining seating area can accommodate all your guests, making it the hub of the house.

The Pines House was previously run as a luxury small hotel and we have maintained this level of quality with televisions, hairdryers and radio-alarms in every room. There is plenty of equipment available for our younger guests, with a spacious games room with kids toys and books in abundance. Oil, electricity, logs, high quality towels and linen are all included in the rental cost. There is free wi-fi access, cd, ipod docking station and DVD players and a library of music and films as well as books and games for you to enjoy.

The Pines House has a very large, peaceful and enclosed mature garden, which has its own private woodland and kids play area. From the seating/BBQ area guests can watch red squirrels and other wildlife. The gate at the end of the garden leads directly into woods and on to the Speyside Way, with many miles of footpaths and cycle trails.
