The Old Coach House
Sleeps: 10
Warkworth 2 miles. The Coach House is a stunning detached property in the grounds of Eastfield Hall with sea views, two miles inland from Northumberland's Heritage Coast and the popular town of Warkworth. Set over two floors you have the choice of four comfortable bedrooms, two of which have their own en-suite facilities, making it ideal for groups of friends and large families. There is a well-equipped kitchen and breakfast area alongside a spacious sitting room with an additional dining table and a woodburning stove, perfect for those chillier Northumbrian nights. When the sun shines, why not open up the patio doors in the sitting room and enjoy the fresh country air and panoramic views towards Warkworth whilst the children play in the garden? The pretty village of Warkworth is just a five minute drive away, with charming shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries. Towering above it all is Warkworth Castle, one of England's finest fortresses dating back to the 14th century. Perhaps take a boat to the Warkworth Hermitage, a medieval cave or just simply sit on the banks of the River Coquet and watch the swans glide peacefully by? The coastal villages of Amble, Alnmouth and Craster are within easy reach, or take in Alnwick Castle and its impressive garden, just a 15 minute drive along unspoilt, scenic roads.
