The Doghouse

Our dog friendly bungalow is situated next door to your hosts' home at the bottom of a bridleway and surrounded by fields and woodland. It is ideally located for exploring local villages and our local market towns of Buckingham and Stony Stratford and, further afield, Olney. The Doghouse is also well placed for day trips to Milton Keynes and Oxford. London is only a 40 minute fast train away from Milton Keynes Central from where Euston is the next stop.
The living space is open plan with a squishy three seater and a firmer two seater sofa with a blanket each and lots of cushions for you to arrange to your liking for maximum comfort. There is a desk to work at and a T.V. with integral D.V.D. player. There is also a wood burning stove for which we provide the wood. The floor is tiled throughout so it’s easy to clean up any muddy pawprints! At one end of the sitting room, there are patio doors that open into the rustic courtyard where you can relax at the bistro table for two and shade yourself with the parasol. At the other end is the roomy kitchen with induction hob, two ovens and a grill, a microwave and washing machine. The dining table seats four.
The king size bed is very comfortable and receives regular mentions in our reviews! For extra comfort, the bed is dressed with a snuggly super king duvet and a choice of pillows – all encased in 100% cotton sateen for a smooth, cool sleep.
The shower room has a loo, a sink with a mirrored cabinet above and a snug shower! Towels are provided.
