Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps and a pond in the garden.. This pretty 1930s detached holiday cottage and annexe enjoy a rural location and lie on the edge of Droxford in the beautiful Meon Valley and South Downs National Park. Both the cottage and the annexe are stylishly furnished to provide a home from home feel with added comforts, including a wood burner, open fires and a gym in the annexe with a punch bag, cross trainer and curl bar. The large lawned garden is a haven in the summer months, providing a perfect setting for al fresco dining with friends or family. Along with many other beautiful villages, West Meon is 5 miles, with pubs serving great food and where the founder of Lords cricket rests; Wickham and Bishops Waltham are both 6 miles and host an array of independent shops, cafés and restaurants. Within easy reach are the glorious South Downs, Portsmouth with historic ship yards, the Spinnaker Tower, waterside dining and ferry trips to the Isle of Wight, cathedral cities Winchester and Chichester, Southampton with its remarkable maritime history, the vast array of scenic walks in the New Forest, beaches at Lee-On-Solent, Hill Head and The Witterings.
Walking and cycling enthusiasts will enjoy both the Meon Valley Railway Line trail, accessible from Droxford, and Beacon Hill accessed via Exton, 2 miles. Shop, PO and three pubs, located in Droxford Village ½ mile.
