The Cow Byre

Set apart from its two sister properties, The Cow Byre is an attractive barn conversion at Wears Farm just outside the delightful village of Abbotsbury with stunning views across the beautiful Dorset countryside.

Imagine relaxing in a home-from-home with a panoramic view of the green, rolling Dorset countryside, with nothing but the sheep and the birds between you and the unspoilt coastline beyond. The Cow Byre is a lovingly converted barn situated on Wears Farm, just inland from Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast.
The accommodation is mainly arranged on the ground floor, with an open-plan kitchen and sitting room and a dining table for six guests. The well-equipped kitchen features a range cooker, and has a dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. You’ll find little touches of luxury throughout, such as Egyptian cotton on the beds and an American-style fridge freezer dispensing ice and filtered water in the kitchen. On the mezzanine level is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite, and there are two further bedrooms; a double and a twin plus a family bathroom. Guests can relax in front of the Smart television in the sitting room or take a drink out onto the private terrace with its teak table and chairs and just soak in those wonderful Dorset Ridgeway views. A charcoal barbecue is provided during the summer season.
If your group is even larger, you can hire The Cow Byre with The Grain Store or The Stables to provide accommodation for up to 20 guests.
