Situated in the village of Hutton Rudby, within the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, is this charming detached house, Sycamore Cottage. Resting in an elevated position and renovated to a high standard, the owners have spared no expense in providing a well-decorated base with quality furnishings, creating a wonderful homely ambiance for friends or families. Cosy up in the large sitting room, benefitting from a bay window where you can pull up a chair and catch up on some reading with those superb rural views as your back drop. Curl up on the large sofa and indulge in the provided TV to stay up to date with all your favourite shows on those quieter evenings. Walk through to an open-plan kitchen/diner, fitted with wooden units and sleek black granite worktops, with all the necessary appliances for rustling up something for dinner. Gather at the dining table for an evening meal, a hearty breakfast or bring a board game from home and enjoy a friendly game. The first floor has a master double bedroom benefitting from an en-suite shower room and plenty of storage space for your personal belongings. Two further single bedrooms can be found, as well as a second-floor double, which all share the family bathroom, offering the choice of a bath or shower over. Doors lead from the sitting room to a decking area where you can dine alfresco with stunning views across the surrounding woodland. Hutton Rudby comes equipped with local stores for all the essentials, as well as a choice of pubs/restaurants for your fine dining needs. A few miles away you can join the National Trail, the Cleveland Way which follows the edge of the North York Moors and leads towards the beautiful coastline. For some hiking, the nearby Roseberry Topping hill is an excellent choice. Take a drive into the post-industrial town of Middlesbrough, home to a variety of popular attractions. For a spot of culture, the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art is an excellent choice, or venture towards the Dorman Museum for historical exhibits. Discover the National Trust property of Ormesby Hall, a Georgian mansion with tours available. Sycamore Cottage is the place to visit for its grand walks and sightseeing opportunities.
