Today you can see their history all around as you travel, but also how the West Riding is adapting to 21st century life. Starting at Sowerby Bridge Wharf, ideally situated for exploring all the northern waterways.

The Westmoreland 6 is a well equipped boat with well-planned living space for two families.

Craftsman built and carefully maintained. Cruiser stern with handrail. Radiator central heating. Carpets and soft upholstery. Hair dryer. 230v supply for customers’ own appliances.

The saloon has a settee, and table which can be stored away when not in use. The settee can be converted to a double or two singles. There is also a raised dinette with table, which can be converted to a second double bed. TV /DVD player and radio /CD player.

The well-planned galley has ample worktop and storage space, quality appliances and plentiful equipment. Fitted cooker with four burner hob, oven and grill. Microwave. Fridge with ice box. Filtered drinking water. Tiled worktop.

The three rear cabins each have a fixed lower single bed, and a top bunk which can be fitted for you if required. Doors divide these cabins.

A spacious cross bathroom with shower, wash basin and fresh water flush toilet. There’s also a second toilet with wash basin.
