From the living room is a large shower room, and two bedrooms: one super king-size and one family room with two sets of bunks beds, ideal for a group of children. Bamburgh is an excellent location to vacation as it boasts many popular tourist spots, including Bamburgh Castle, a Grade II listed building. Built on a dolerite outcrop, the location was previously home to a fort of the indigenous Celtic Britons known as Din Guarie and may have been the capital of the kingdom of Bernicia, the realm of the Gododdin people, from the realm's foundation in c.420 until 547. It is steeped in history and is a magnificent sight to behold. Also nearby is Bamburgh Beach where you can find the many restaurants, tea rooms and pubs along with boutique gift shops, an ideal day trip for all.
