Prospect Lodge is a luxury 3 bedroom 3 bathroom lodge accommodating up to 6 people plus 2 dogs at The Bay Filey Holiday Resort on the Yorkshire Coast.
Just a short stroll from an amazing dog-friendly beach, and with amenities on hand too, it's ideal for adults, children and pets all year round.
Prospect Lodge is situated on The Meadows, an exclusive gated development of The Bay. Enter through the side door into the open plan living space with well-equipped kitchen with Bosch appliances, dining space and lounge area with corner sofa (new in 2022) and arm chairs, smart TV and log burning stove. Down the hallway are 3 bedrooms all with their own ensuite and TV – 2 doubles with ensuite wet rooms with walk-in rainfall shower, and one twin with ensuite bathroom (bath with shower over). The second double can also be made as 2 small singles if preferred. Fully redecorated throughout at the end of 2022. At the front is a large deck with dining table and chairs and rattan sofa set, making the most of the unrestricted meadow view. Off the rear double bedroom is a private deck with rattan sofa and coffee table. There is also an outside shower (ideal on returning from the beach). Off road parking for 2 cars, and additional spaces nearby too. This property has a path to the entrance door which makes it accessible for those with mobility issues. However, please note we do not have grab rails in the bathrooms. Please be aware the Meadows road is currently awaiting resurfacing (early 2024) - there are a number of potholes at present.

Absolutely outstanding place to stay. The site itself is very well maintained & it located just a 10 minute drive from Scarborough. Prospect Lodge has an incredible position overlooking
the lake & meadow. The lodge is very spacious & has everything you need from crockery, cutlery, glassware etc to large en-suite wet rooms offering double showers. Lovely to see some local landmarks on the wall art too The owners have thought of everything & they have even provided a selection of family games along to with a helpful welcome book which includes the wifi code & the instruction books for all of the high quality kitchen appliances. The icing on the cake is the decking area which has a beautiful view where you can relax in on the high class furniture provided. Cannot recommend highly enough.
