This family owned and managed resort offers a host of things to do and visit during your stay at Portsonachan. We welcome pets and the owners are dog owners themselves. With the "free roaming" laws in Scotland you are free to walk with your dog pretty much anywhere along with taking them for a trip out in one of our boats on South Loch Awe.

Our on site bar and restaurant offers everything you want from breakfast/lunch/dinner hampers to dining in along with a takeaway/delivery service. The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom lodges/duplex apartments sleep from 2 to 6 people and are fully furnished and fitted with everything you will need to enjoy your holiday away from home. All linen/towels and heating provided at no additional costs and anything you might need to make this an extra special getaway experience, then just ask us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We have owned and managed Portsonachan for nearly 30 years and we are situated approximately 40 minutes from Oban, 20 minutes from Inveraray and 1.30 minutes from Glasgow. Each individual lodge/duplex have their own individual parking spaces directly outside the accommodation and pets are allowed in the common areas as long as they are on a lead. There is a dining area where you can eat and take your dogs and the large terrace overlooking Loch Awe is an ideal place to while away some time over a beverage or two.
