You will be so glad to know that Gower is super dog friendly and a pet’s paradise, not only because of the numerous beaches, rolling countryside and coastal stretches, but also because Pitton Cross Farm offers our very own dog park – Barking Meadows! You will also find that many businesses in the area allow dogs, and Rhossili, Oxwich, Llangennith and Port Eynon beaches are dog friendly all year too! There really is no need to leave your dogs behind when you go on holiday, and with 4 beagles we truly understand how to ensure you and your dogs feel welcome. Remy, Ramsay, Shelby and Mr. Finley are part of our family and the reason we do not charge a pet fee. We want to encourage our guests to bring their whole family on holiday with them too! 

Our dog-friendly farmhouse comfortably sleeps 8 guests with 3 dogs and has a secure front garden. The Farmhouse was tastefully refurbished with a change of ownership in 2021, to include pet-friendly flooring throughout the downstairs living areas. The modern, open-plan Kitchen was renovated in 2022, offering a large communal area ideal for families and groups. The Living Room is comfy and cosy, with a roaring log burner and leather sofas. Upstairs, there are (2) King and (1) Twin Bedrooms, offering coastal and countryside views, with (1) Double Bedroom on the ground floor, with a brand new en-suite bathroom completed in early 2024. Pitton Cross Farm was granted full planning permission in 2023 to convert two outbuildings into 6 further holiday lets and we will add 2 further units for Autumn 2024 - The Beagle Barn and Nanna's Bakehouse - comfortably sleeping 2 guests and 2 dogs in each unit, with the remaining units to follow in late 2025. 

All of our dog guests will receive a welcome pack and our Digital Tour Guide located on our website, is fully loaded with suggestions for walks from the Farm Front Door and Exploring Gower, with many dog-friendly businesses also included! The 118/119 bus stops right outside our property and award-winning Rhossili Beach is less than 2 miles from the farm. Magical Mewslade Bay (a hidden secret) is walking distance (25 minutes) and picture perfect Oxwich Bay and Port Eynon are a short drive away (less than 10 minutes). With advance notice, dogs can be left unattended for up to 3 hours and we do not have an age or breed restriction - but just ask that all dogs are potty trained :)
