Mill Farm Devon Holidays

Mill Farm is perfectly placed just a 5 min stroll from the lovely village of Bradworthy with its selection of shops and village pub. Plus being just a scone's throw from the Devon/Cornwall border, and less than 10 miles from the coast, means it's a great base for exploring. The seaside towns of both Bude and Westward Ho! are only around a 25 min drive away, so you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches and places to dine out.

Just three luxury lakeside holiday properties nestle on the banks of the beautiful lake and they each sleep 4 over two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin room. (Owl Lodge also has an extra, full-size trundle bed in the twin room, so it can accommodate up to 5). All properties welcome up to two medium sized dogs and more, smaller dogs, by request. 

Beautifully furnished and with everything needed for a relaxing stay, they all also benefit from stunning views directly over the amazing lake and the each have their own garden fenced to a height of approx. 1m at the lowest point, (so as not to spoil the views).  For dining alfresco there is comfortable garden furniture and a BBQ.

Fishing in the lake is just for guests and there are two purpose built jetties. The lake is stocked with several species including Carp, Roach. Rudd and Perch. There are numerous places in the park-like grounds to relax outdoors. Including a picnic bench with views out across the glorious Devon countryside, plus a riverside retreat, which is a lovely shady place to sit and watch the River Waldon flow by. 

Or you could take advantage of the fire pit area, with rustic shelter adorned with twinkling fairy lights. Everything you need to have a cosy fire is provided, even down to the hot chocolate and marshmallows! Mill Farm is also in an area of dark sky, so the stargazing is excellent.

During your stay you'll be able to watch the resident herd of friendly alpacas roaming their fields and with a with a complimentary alpaca ‘Meet and Treat’ experience you can get up close and hands on with them too!
