At Kingfisher Barn, discover a hidden gem of 10 bed and breakfast rooms and a variety of self-catering properties in a 17th century farm conversion.. The main barn is converted in to two 8-bed lodges and The Nest, a 1-bedroom apartment. Our self-catering cottages have been transformed from the old granary, stores and stables in to properties that sleep 2, 3 or 4 guests. Our en-suite bed and breakfast rooms are set in the converted stables surrounding a lovely courtyard garden. All of our accommodation showcases the characterful features of the original farm buildings whilst creating a relaxing space for you to enjoy! The barn is a wonderful base to enjoy Abingdon and Oxfordshire, with its historical sights, beautiful countryside, independent businesses, eateries and plenty of shopping opportunities. All our accommodation is prepared to a high standard and we strive to meet the needs of each guest, ensuring your stay is both comfortable and memorable. Dogs are welcome here at the barn, we love meeting your four-legged friends, we also accept other pets at our discretion so do not hesitate to contact us if you have another pet you wish to bring to stay. We are located just a few minutes' walk from the banks of the beautiful River Thames in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside. As well as being perfectly located for walking the Thames path, the Historic Market Town Abingdon-on -Thames is only a ten-minute walk away. The city of Oxford is eight miles away, to which there are excellent bus links from Abingdon, and London is less than an hour's drive.
