Our apartment is ideal for couples, families, small groups, and business travellers, looking for a relaxing or adventurous break in a tranquil setting . Excellent transport links and plenty to explore the local nature and wildlife either by foot or by bike on an abundance of mapped out routes.
Read MoreFirwood house was built in 1821 . The apartment is set in a lovely tranquil position with panoramic views overlooking the Holy Loch. The apartment is set in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
From the head of the Holy Loch, north to Glenbranter, there are dozens of walks along the shores of Loch Eck and elevating up the sides of the Glen on both sides with Benmore (Bienn Mhor) being one of the highest summits in the area and a popular vantage point. Glenbranter Forest is known for an abundance of nature and wildlife including red squirrels. For mountain bikers the Loch Eck Loop offers magnificent views of Beinn Mhor, and the west coast islands of Islay and Jura.
Local attractions include Pucks Glen, Benmore Botanic Gardens and the Kilmun Mausoleum where Saint Munn landed after leaving Ireland in the 6th century, where the Holy Loch name was derived. The nearest town is Dunoon which is only a 10-minute drive.

Living room: Comfortable lounge with seating for five. There is a 42" Freeview TV, DVD player and a cabinet with games, books and puzzles for you to enjoy.
Kitchen: With breakfast area, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and wooden floor.
Dining Room
There is a separate dining room with a large table and chairs which comfortably fits 6.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1: With double bed, wardrobe. vanity unit with drawers
Bedroom 2: With bunk bed and single bed, wardrobe and set of drawers
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.
Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Small enclosed courtyard (shared with owner). On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 4 steps in the courtyard. There is no gas in the village.
There is an upper apartment which is occupied by the owners family and dogs. Please note the apartment is totally electric as there is no gas in the village. You can control heat in each room. to suit you.
