Hawthorn Farm Cottages in Kent is an ideal holiday destination for pets, especially dogs! Right in the heart of orchard country; you'll not be short of wonderful dog-walking opportunities when you come to stay in one of our charming holiday cottages.
Read MoreWhen you have a family pet, it can be difficult to know what to do for the best when you go on holiday. Leaving them behind at the kennels can be heart-wrenching and expensive. It can also be hard to find suitable pet friendly accommodation in Kent, with all the space you need for you and all your family too... That's why we offer a welcome "home from home" experience for you and your pets - whether they're four or two legged, furry or feathered - they're all welcome to stay at Hawthorn Farm!
Two of our charming holiday cottages are designated as pet friendly - Foxglove Cottage (sleeping up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms) and Primrose Cottage (sleeping up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms, and accessible for wheelchair users). We simply charge £25 per stay for up to 2 dogs, which includes a doggy welcome pack with dog treats and poop bags, as well as the following items to borrow/use while you're here:
- Dog bowl- Spare pet blanket- A few toys- A disinfectant spray in case of accidents- A pet wash bag in case you need to use the washing machine- 2 temporary dog tags with our phone number, in case your dogs go walkabout!

We have several friendly and experienced local dog sitters we can recommend for guests wishing to go out without their dog. We have two donkeys and two cats at Hawthorn Farm, as well as lots of wildlife, including bunnies. Dogs can therefore be walked within the farm grounds on a lead. There are plenty of off-lead walking opportunities right on our doorstep!
