A complex of four self-catering thatched cottages in a historic farmstead on the edge of Devon’s beautiful Blackdown Hills. Private gated patios to each cottage, plus great walking from the door on lanes and footpaths. Easy access by car to woodland, moorland and beaches further afield.
Read MoreHalsbeer Farm’s accommodation comprises one seven sleeper, two six sleepers and one three sleeper, all sensitively converted from the former farm buildings with lofty ceilings, oak beams and slate floors. Bespoke stair-gates fitted to keep dogs downstairs. In addition we have communal facilities including a heated indoor pool, games room with pool and table tennis, and a comfortable conservatory with deck overlooking a pond. Local guide books including dog walking guides provided.

Halsbeer is just the loveliest place. Beautiful accommodation in stunning surroundings.
Dogs are treated the way we treat them,as part of the family.
We are having our 4th stay at Halsbeer(with our dogs!!) and have booked for our 5th next year.
I highly recommend Halsbeer to everyone.

We do not have a gated exercise area although there is a grassed area adjacent to the parking and substantial fields bordering the driveway where dogs can be let off lead when sheep are not there. You must keep your dog on lead where there is livestock. Gated patios to all cottages. We can recommend lovely woodland and river walks a short drive away. You may leave your dog unattended when using the pool and games room but not when you are out for the day. Dog sitting may be available in special circumstances e.g if you are attending a wedding locally.
