Grey Seal Cottage

Grey Seal Cottage comprises of sitting room, kitchen and conservatory with dining room table downstairs and upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms and a large family bathroom which has a separate bath and shower. There is off street parking, books, games, toys and wifi. The house is situated within minutes of the Buttlands where there are fantastic award winning gastropubs. Wells Quay is a few minutes walk away where you can watch the local fishermen bring in their catches and children can have great fun fishing for crabs off the 'Albatros' clipper boat. From here you can take the miniature steam train down to Wells beach with it's brightly painted huts and if you are lucky, spot a seal or two. There is so much to do here from sailing and bird watching to enjoying the outdoor cinema at Holkham. What about booking a chocolate making workshop at the Chocolate Deli in Walsingham! Wells Carnival in August and the Pirate Festival in September are also great fun. There is wonderful Christmas shopping in the area. Burnham Market has some fantastic shops and Christmas is celebrated with pretty lights and a skating rink on the green. Father Christmas arrives In Wells Quay by boat, under a display of fireworks at the beginning of December, there are also craft tents on the Buttlands too.
