Forager Cottage

Forager is a beautiful 400 year old Cottage situated in a very quiet hamlet between the bustling Devon towns of Dartmouth and Totnes and just a stones throw away from the River Dart.

It is perfectly placed for lovely summer holidays with the extensive garden with summer house and fire pit as well as a wonderful retreat in Autumn and Winter where you can curl up on the sofas in front of one of the 2 log burners after a long day out walking. The cottage has 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms (sleeping 6 adults + 2 children) and we use the highest quality linen to ensure a wonderful nights sleep.  Toweling robes and white company toiletries are also provided.

Right outside the door are wonderful walks down Devon Green lanes or along the river banks of the Dart. You can walk to many wonderful pubs or to the local village of Dittisham where you can take the quaint little foot ferry to the seaside town of Dartmouth. Agatha Christie's riverside home, Greenways, is also just across the water.
A little further afield but within 1/2 hour of the cottage are some wonderful dog friendly beaches and the South west coastal path where you can walk for miles just looking at the Ocean, or take a 45 drive to the beautiful national park of Dartmoor.

The cottage has been furnished with luxury in mind so you really feel like your having a wonderful holiday. So we provide throws to put on the sofas if you like to snuggle up with your 4 legged friends but we do ask that they are not allowed upstairs. Dog towels, bowels and a crate (should you need one) are all provided as well as doggie treats in the welcome hamper (we also provide a human welcome hamper too).  Please also note that the garden is lovely and private but not 100% dog proof (if you have little escape artists!)
