This beautiful cottage lies close to Glenridding at the foot of Ullswater in the small village of Patterdal, a popular area for walkers, visiting Helvellyn and the surrounding fells and peaks. Perfectly suited for families or friends, Deer How Farm welcomes you inside with its spacious interior and heart-warming features. Such features can be found in the cosy lounge, examples being the exposed stonework, the ceiling beams and the woodburner creating a calming place to relax after a busy afternoon. Equally as impressive is the country cottage kitchen/diner, including seating for ten people, and Velux windows to welcome in the natural light. On the same floor you will also discover a wonderful double bedroom, elevated by magnificent scenic views, followed by four further bedrooms upstairs, all overlooking the precious fells. Three bathrooms complete the interior, two feature walk-in showers, of the same high quality standard as seen throughout the property. Appreciate all that this wonderful cottage has to offer, then head outside and spend an hour or two sitting outside on the furniture under the sun. The village caters today largely for walkers and day trippers, only walking distance to pubs and outdoor space, you can make yourselves right at home. Some of the pubs in Glenridding lean towards the picturesque Ullswater where you can try your hand at some exhilarating outdoor pursuits, or perhaps take a soothing cruise on one of the Ullswater Steamers. The area is also popular with mountain walkers with plenty of walking opportunities available in the area. There is much to do close by, with the wonderful twin towns of Bowness and Windermere 12 miles away. This property and its location truly provide a getaway for all to enjoy.
