Outside there is an enclosed garden and patio, surrounded in every direction by beautiful scenery. The tiny hamlet of Seathwaite is 4 miles down the valley where there is a lovely country inn serving delicious food, and the Hardknott Pass leads you over into Eskdale and Wasdale.
