This Youlgreave cottage offers three bedrooms, all with wooden floors and low doorways, adding to the charming character of this lovely cottage. The bedrooms are made up of a double, a twin, and a single with an additional stacker bed, which can also be made into a comfortable double bed on request. There is a family bathroom providing the perfect spot for a relaxing soak after a long day exploring. The living areas offer splendid views, stretching across the luscious surrounding countryside. Prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen before sitting down to discuss the day’s adventures in the adjoining dining area. The sitting room, with its feature beams and exposed stonework offers a cosy place to unwind by the warming woodburning stove. From the sitting room, French doors lead outside this Derbyshire cottage into an idyllic south-facing garden, the perfect place for enjoying an evening drink and taking in the outstanding views across the valley and hills. Youlgreave is home to a small shop/Post Office, a high quality butcher/baker and three good pubs serving food (including one offering takeaways), whilst a larger range of amenities is available in the nearby market town of Bakewell. From this Youlgreave cottage, wonderful walking and cycling can be enjoyed in the Peak District National Park, including the traffic-free routes of Monsal Trail and High Peak Trail. With the magnificent Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall also within driving distance, this Youlgreave cottage is an ideal base for a break exploring the Peak District, all year round!
