Brick Kiln Barns

Surrounded by fields and open countryside Brick Kiln Barns comprises 4 individual holiday cottages converted from buildings associated with the brick kiln that remains in the grounds. We are in the peaceful broads village of Dilham 8 miles from the North Norfolk coast with miles of dog friendly sandy beaches.  

The dog and family friendly village pub serving food is a 10 minute (flat) stroll away and you can pick up groceries in the local towns of Wroxham, North Walsham and Stalham offering a choice of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers along with cafes, bars, restaurants, and takeaways that will deliver.

The Norfolk Broads start at the end of the driveway where you can fish or launch your own canoe or paddle board and the city of Norwich is 14 miles away.

For walking you can access the Weaver's Way and the North Walsham and Dilham Canal footpath from the village, and Bacton Wood offering off lead shady walks is a 10 min drive.  

We welcome children and up to 2 dogs (please enquire about more).  

Wheelwrights is a luxury modern one bedroomed property with a light and bright open plan living area overlooking surrounding fields through two sets of patio doors which lead to a fully enclosed private garden with hot tub and furnished patio.  It has a ground floor bedroom with ensuite and a bonus second mezzanine lounge with TV field views.  It's the perfect base for exploring the area or for relaxing or a romantic getaway or all three! 

The Long Barn is a modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage perfect for families and small groups of up to 6 adults.  We can also provide 2 travels cots and an extra child bed (please contact host before booking).  It has been finished to a high standard with modern fitted kitchen and bathrooms while retaining exposed beams and vaulted ceilings.  It is fitted with Velux windows which, alongside floor to ceiling windows, lend a light, airy and spacious feel throughout the barn which is kept cosy in the winter months by underfloor heating.  Double doors open onto the patio and fully enclosed garden.  Bring all the family or your best friends to enjoy this child and dog friendly cottage for 6 with 2 free parking spaces and a third, overflow space also available. 

No. 1 Brick Kiln Barns is a cosy 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with an open plan living area and fully enclosed garden with hot tub and direct gated access to, and sunset views over our exercise field (not fenced). The bedrooms can be configured as 2 kingsize or a kingsize and twin making No. 1 perfect for 2 couples or families.  

No. 2 Brick Kiln Barns is a cosy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage with an open plan living area and fully enclosed garden with hot tub and direct gated access to, and sunset views over the exercise field. Wake up to wonderful views of open countryside or watch a beautiful sunset from your hot tub after a day exploring - it's hard not to relax.  The bedrooms can be configured as 2 kingsize or a kingsize and twin making No. 2 perfect for 2 couples, families or couples looking for a bit more space. We can also provide a travel cot in the master bedroom.

All of our cottages have free parking, free wifi, hard floors with underfloor heating, leather sofas and fully enclosed, furnished gardens.  We also have an additional exercise field (not fenced) available to all our guests - perfect for zoomies and running off some energy before an outing in the car! We are perfectly situated for both coast and all things Broads.  Two dogs stay free but if you have more please ask.
