The living area has a wood burning stove which makes Briar Patch a great option for an out of season break with the family or friends. Outside there’s a patio with wooden table and chairs, great for a little alfresco dining.

The property is in a tucked away location yet within easy reach of the beach and shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants…  so there’s no excuse to treat yourself to a coffee and cake!

Stroll along the prom to the pier, a prominent landmark in Southwold. Stop off at one of the pubs and lunch or a quick pint, alternatively visit one of the lovely delis, grocers or bakers and pack up a picnic. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. Don’t forget to visit the lighthouse - this distinctive landmark at the centre of the town has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s.
