Brian’s Cottage is a 1930’s single storey property deep in the Norfolk countryside, surrounded by arable fields with stunning views up to the church and bordering the Broads National Park. The garden is south-west facing with year round glorious sunsets. A private gate from the end of the garden leads to a myriad of footpaths with the popular Weaver’s Way a short distance away. The cottage sleeps four + infant in two bedrooms, a king size and two singles. Due to the secluded nature, Brian’s Cottage has always been popular with reactive dogs of all breeds and their owners. We are able to accept XL bully and type breeds. The fences and gates are all two metres high and although you can enjoy the views to the rear, the planted garden means that your sighthounds can’t. There’s storage for bicycles, canoes or paddle boards. A large gas barbecue is provided in the summer months along with comfortable sun loungers and a swing seat. For the dogs, a sun bed and paddling pools, an outside warm shower with a trough bath for smaller dogs to ease your back. Crates of various sizes, an Innopet dog buggy, a Petsafe ramp and sofa steps are all provided as needed. We accept between four and ten dogs depending on their size absolutely free and can dog sit by prior arrangement also at no charge. The cottage is ten minutes from the nearest beaches and also Bacton Woods. The nearest supermarkets are also ten minutes away at North Walsham or Stalham. The nearest pub The Butcher’s Arms is 0.8 miles away.

Julie Cooper, October 2024

We had only been there 10 minutes, when my husband said, " I could live here." Excellent, dog friendly accommodation. Nothing is too much trouble. Booked another 2 week holiday before we left.

Ruth Goreham, September 2024

Quite simply the most dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in!

Hayley Fagg, September 2024
