We are pleased to announce that the campsite is open again, to caravans, motorhomes and campervans for 2023.
We are a quiet campsite with far reaching views over Forest of Dean. Dogs Welcome. Fenced Dog exercise field. Walking distance of dog-friendly village pubs. Hardstanding and grass pitches. Electric hook-ups. Clean, modern shower blocks.
Deanwood Caravan and Campsite is in a tranquil setting away from busy roads yet within walking distance of the village of Yorkley. Direct access from the site into the Forest of Dean where there are miles of footpaths and cycle paths. Close to the many Forest of Dean attractions also the towns of Lydney, Coleford and Cinderford.
There are wonderful views from the site across the Forest and to the Welsh hills beyond. Sunsets are spectacular!
There are two modern shower blocks and two wash-up kitchens, all of which are cleaned very regularly and kept to a high standard.
Access to the site is easy - we are only 3 miles from the A48 Gloucester to Chepstow road.
Dogs with well behaved owners are very welcome. They have their own enclosed exercise field where they can be let off the lead (at your own risk, we don't guarantee that escapist dogs won't manage to escape!) Dogs are charged at £1 per night each.

Super campsite where dogs are always welcomed (we have 3). Plenty of dog bins with a secure enclosed dog walking field on site. There are also fantastic dog walks straight into the woods from the campsite.
