Narin Beach
Narin Beach, Co Donegal, Ireland. Located near Portnoo, Co Donegal, in Gweebarra Bay. Two kilometres of "Blue Flag" Award sandy beach. Caravan park behind the sand dunes. The Island of Inishkeel, is approachable by a sand bank (at LOW TIDE), There is the remains of an Old Church. During 6th Century A.D. monks set up a small community on this island. Their leader was Saint Conall Cael . The St Conall Cael's Bell remained on the island until the 19th century, when it was acquired by the British Museum.
