Duckpool Beach
(1 review)
Seasonal dog ban. Easter day to 1st October. Nestled between high cliffs, with the imposing Steeple Point to the right, Duckpool is one of the most attractive and dramatic coves in the area. The beach is approached via the tranquil woodland of Coombe Valley. Source: beachguide.co.uk.

Duckpool is our favourite beach because it feels remote and always with fantastic views. When the tide is out the beach is gloriously sandy with many rock pools for Dylan to investigate. With Steeple Point Cliff dominating the beach you can enjoy a lovely walk along the South West Coast path into Bude. Dylan can be anxious of other dogs and we find this beach to be quieter than others in the area. Truly breath taking scenery that just feels special. The large open beach gives a great opportunity and security for less confident dogs to run and play in freedom, which is another reason why we love this beach.
