Caswell Bay

Sharon panchen, July 2023
Caswell Bay has a virtually secure beach, access to the road is easy but far enough away to feel safe letting goes run free. We visited in February on a beautiful sunny day, it was idealic as far as I was concerned. Some waves but not enough to cause concern for dogs safety. The tide was out so there was a large expanse of sand we didn't get to explore it all. A fair number other dogs but not so many that if you had a nervous or reactive dog you would be worried. As only visited at low tide I'm unsure how much beach is accessible at high tide, but from indications of a small line of seaweed I think it would be small, however there is a "high tide route" along the cliff tops. This beach immediately improved my mental health and my 2 labs had a wonderful time there.
