Dogs are allowed all year. Berrow South lies towards the southern end of Berrow Flats, a 6-mile stretch of sand and mudflats between Burnham-on-Sea and Brean Down. The beach here is flat and sandy, backed by dunes. Source: beachguide.co.uk.

All-year round access to grassy dunes leading to a very wide sandy beach. Perfect place to socialise your dog off the lead.

Its the perfect big expanse of sand for dogs to just run and run on. They also love the sand dunes which you cross to get onto the beach. The water is shallow (its the Bristol Channel) and perfect for paddling. Sometimes its a long way out!! There are fresh water rivulets which drain through the sand dunes into the beach and provide welcome drinking water for after a long run.
